BACTROCERA DORSALIS is a trap designed to trap adults of Oriental Fruit Fly (Bactrocera dorsalis) a pholyphagous insect with an incredible biotic potential due to its numerous annual cycles and high oviposition. The attractiveness of the methyleugenol-base dispenser, contained in a protective capsule and the plastic structure, allow effective trapping and precise monitoring of the species.
Dispensing duration is about 40 days.
Usage tips
Place the attractant dispenser inside the bell:
Suspend the trap 1,5/2 metres above ground, preferably in shaded areas. To improve effectiveness, it’s recommended to add a soap and water solution.
