MASS® Large for Pine Processionary Moth
Pheromone Trap designed to monitor and mass-trap Pine Processionary Moth (Traumatocampa pityocampa)
MASS® Large is the trap for mass-trapping Pine processionary moths (Traumatocampa pityocampa). This version has vertical fins, recommended to capture Pine processionary moths, is also suitable to capture various species of Noctuid Lepidoptera infesting horticultural crops.
Usage tips
Install the traps in the first half of June and hang them in medium-high position, on the southwest side of the plant. In parks and gardens, 6/8 traps are recommended per hectare, placed at 40/50 metres from each other. In large woods, place the trap every 100 meters from each other, along the perimeter and acces roads, in the sunniest areas where the infestation is usually greater.
